Getting in Touch
There are a few ways to reach me. You can fill out the “Contact Me” form, located at the top of this website, or call my office at (603) 722-2776. I am often not immediately available by phone, so please leave a message on my confidential voicemail with your contact information. I typically respond to messages within 1-2 business days.
I will get in touch with you to determine what services you may need, and whether I am the best person to provide these services to you. Please feel free to ask any questions you have about me, the therapy process, or my practice. We can discuss whether other family members (spouses, children) should attend the first appointment with you, depending on your situation.
You have the option to hold your therapy sessions online via Telehealth or in the office, and I will discuss your preference with you before the first appointment.
There will be paperwork for you to complete prior to the first appointment. I use a secure, HIPPA-compliant Electronic Medical Records program which allows you to easily access, review, and sign the documents via your computer, tablet, or Smartphone. Please feel free to ask me any questions before signing.
First Appointment
You might feel nervous for our first appointment – that’s very common! Many times, people feel better immediately after our first meeting. It can help just to talk about what’s on your mind, and know that I am here to help you.
At our first appointment, in order to help me understand how I can help you, I will ask you questions about you or your child’s history, and what brings you to therapy. Some of the questions may not apply to your situation, and that’s okay.
After the First Appointment
I consider the first 1-3 sessions as an evaluation of your needs. At the end of the evaluation, I will share some thoughts with you about what our work together will look like. We will decide together how often to meet- it may be weekly, every other week, or less than that. Everyone is different, so we will schedule appointments based on what makes sense for you. We may meet for a few months, several months, or longer, depending on your needs.
If you need referrals to other professionals at any time during evaluation or treatment, we will discuss this together and I will help connect you to those providers.
